Appeal in Belgrade rejects Milan Radoičiqi’s complaint against Rada Trajković

The Belgrade Court of Appeals has dismissed the appeal lodged by Milan Radoičiqi. The appeal challenged a prior court decision that had ruled on Radoičiqi’s lawsuit filed against Serbian politician Rada Trajkoviq. The original legal action centered on claims of defamation and damage to reputation, stemming from statements allegedly made by Trajkoviq.

Specifically, the lawsuit addressed remarks linking Radoičiqi to the killing of Oliver Ivanović. Rada Trajkoviq confirmed the court’s ruling via social media, stating that the Belgrade Court of Appeals rejected Milan Radoičiqi’s appeal. She noted that the appeal itself was submitted by Radoičiqi’s legal representative, Goran Petronijević.

In her statement, Trajkoviq also referenced ongoing developments, commenting that “everything is gradually coming to light.” Furthermore, she addressed recent accusations leveled against the lawyer, Petronijević, characterizing him as an “SNS lawyer.”

The rejection of the appeal marks a significant development in the protracted legal dispute between the two figures. The proceedings took place within the judicial framework of Belgrade, concerning the validity of statements made publicly. The court’s decision effectively upheld the initial judgment regarding the defamation claims brought forward by Radoičiqi against Trajkoviq.

The outcome solidifies the legal standing regarding the allegations made against Radoičiqi concerning the sensitive historical events related to Oliver Ivanović.
