Prishtina, Kosovo – Customs officers at the Prishtina International Airport successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle undeclared goods during routine checks. According to an official announcement, customs personnel were conducting standard inspections within the green channel when they initiated a targeted examination of a passenger’s baggage following an anomaly detected by a scanner. A subsequent detailed inspection of the passenger’s luggage revealed approximately 100 pieces of undeclared products.

The items were found in violation of Article 244 of the Customs Code of the Republic of Kosovo. The passenger has been formally charged with a customs offense related to the undeclared goods.
