Traffic conditions on national routes are currently normal, according to LAMM’s latest report, with dry road surfaces contributing to smooth passage. Increased traffic volume is being observed in regions away from urban centers. At the Tabanocë border crossing, there’s a notably higher number of departures, resulting in average wait times of around 40 minutes.
Entry and exit procedures at the border points facing North Macedonia are now operating without any delays. LAMM advises drivers to adjust their speeds and adhere strictly to traffic signals. Careful vehicle control is particularly important on roads traversing valleys, river gorges, and ravines, where the ground presents a risk of slippage.
This caution is especially pertinent for specific sections including the Katllanovë – Veles, Mavrovë – Dibër – Strugë, Vinicë – Berovë, and Koçan – Dellçevë routes. The road connecting Ohrid to Resnjë, passing through the Galičic National Park, remains open following a recent accident. Overall, the situation regarding traffic on these roads is stable and under observation.
