Lidhje Demokratike të Kosovës (LDK) MP Reacts to Election List Placement
Hykmete Bajrami, a former Member of Parliament for the Lidhje Demokratike të Kosovës (LDK), has addressed her placement at 12th on the party’s list for the upcoming June 7th elections. Bajrami stated that she views the position as not presenting a significant challenge. According to Bajrami, her inclusion on the LDK list reflects the party’s priorities, emphasizing that the LDK is greater than any individual member.
She clarified that her political engagement is not contingent upon her ranking or personal aspirations for victory. “From the LDK office, I was informed that I am listed at number 12, following individuals who previously opposed the LDK,” Bajrami explained. “This does not pose a problem for me personally, as my focus is not on ranking or personal success.”
Bajrami highlighted her continuous involvement with the LDK, asserting that she has never perceived the party as a platform solely for individual advancement.
The placement on the list remains a point of discussion within the LDK, with Bajrami maintaining a commitment to the party’s broader goals.
