Besnik Berisha Appointed Chairman of the Media Regulatory Commission (KPM)
Pristina, Kosovo – Besnik Berisha was elected as the Chairman of the Media Regulatory Commission (KPM) following a meeting of the Commission’s newly appointed members. The KPM formally announced the appointment on May 5, 2026. This marks Berisha’s second term in the role.
Following the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo’s selection of new members, the complete KPM composition was finalized, including Drita Morina, Hysni Mustafa, Luljeta Aliu, Serpin Emruşi, and Suada Džogović. The Commission convened for its initial meeting of 2026, adhering to Article 15, paragraph 1, of the KPM Law. According to this provision, the meeting was chaired by the oldest member, Suada Džogović.
