Citizen consideration from Kosovo has returned from the Middle East.

A large volume of Kosovar nationals have begun returning to their ancestral villages from the Middle East. Despite this, hundreds more Kosovar citizens continue to reside within the troubled area impacted by the recent conflict between the United States and Iran. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (MPJD) of Kosovo announced this situation to Radio Free Europe.

The ministry’s statement, delivered on Wednesday, refrained from revealing the precise figure of Kosovar citizens who have returned from the affected zone. Instead, it confirmed that Kosovar institutions are actively processing the return requests. This process is being undertaken in collaboration with pertinent authorities and key international partners.

“Based on the most current data validated by our diplomatic missions, approximately 600 Kosovar citizens are presently believed to be situated within these zones,” the ministry’s response detailed. The situation underscores the ongoing efforts to support the safe return of Kosovar individuals. These efforts are being conducted with the assistance of various international stakeholders.

The ministry is focused on facilitating the process and ensuring the well-being of the Kosovar population.
