Deliu-Kodra: PDK did not want new elections, responsibility falls on the LDK.

Blerta Deliu-Kodra, a Member of Parliament representing the Democratic Party of Kosovo, affirmed her party’s longstanding respect for decisions made by the Constitutional Court. She stated that the Democratic Party will continue to anticipate the conclusive ruling concerning the parliament’s decree regarding distribution. During an appearance on the “Five” program broadcast on TV Dukagjini, Deliu-Kodra underscored the PDK’s perspective.

The PDK’s constitutional experts believe President Vjosa Osmani’s decree on the distribution of parliament to be entirely just. The PDK has consistently demonstrated this respect for the Constitutional Court, a practice that has been maintained both while in positions of power and during periods of opposition. It is standard procedure for the party to await final judgments on issues that have previously been addressed by the court.

Deliu-Kodra acknowledged the decree issued by President Osmani, reflecting the party’s approach to legal matters and judicial processes. This commitment to upholding constitutional principles remains a core tenet of the Democratic Party of Kosovo’s stance.
