19 Individuals Ordered into Pre-Trial Detention in Mitrovica Following Investigation

The Basic Court in Mitrovica has ordered the pre-trial detention of nineteen suspects following an investigation into alleged pyramid schemes and illegal trafficking activities. Judge Marigona Lajqi of the General Department, Penal Division, approved a request from the Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica to detain the suspects. The individuals, identified by the initials A.B., D.S., N.M., B.M., R.S., A.I., B.I., B.S., F.M., M.S., B.B., A.R., A.M., N.H., D.M., and A.M., are suspected of involvement in organizing pyramid schemes and illegal trafficking, offenses outlined in Article 294 in conjunction with Article 31 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

The court determined there was reasonable suspicion of criminal activity among the group. The pre-trial detention order will remain in effect as the investigation continues. This case is being handled by the Basic Court in Mitrovica.
