LDK Leadership Meeting Omitted Key Figures; Bajrami Attributes Absence to Health Concerns
Kosovar Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) leadership held a meeting today focused on discussions regarding the upcoming June 7th elections and the formalization of a cooperation agreement with former President Vjosa Osmani. However, two prominent figures within the party, Hykmete Bajrami and Avdullah Hoti, were absent from the gathering. Photographs released by LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku depicting the leadership meeting showed Bajrami and Hoti were not present, prompting public interest.
Telegrafi reached out to Hykmete Bajrami for comment on her absence. In a brief statement, Bajrami cited health reasons as the cause for her inability to attend the discussions. “Due to health reasons,” she stated.
The reasons for Hoti’s absence were not immediately available. The LDK has not yet issued a formal statement addressing the absence of both Bajrami and Hoti from the leadership meeting. The party’s focus remains on preparations for the June 7th elections and solidifying its political strategy.
