Fatos Geci Denies Speech Was Prepared by LVV
Prishtina – Deputy Fatos Geci addressed public speculation surrounding the delivery of a recent speech, following claims made by fellow Vetëvendosje MP Gani Geci. Throughout Tuesday, circulating commentary suggested that Geci did not independently author the speech. In a direct response, Deputy Geci stated that the speech was composed spontaneously.
He clarified that the remarks were formulated in the immediate aftermath of comments made by PDK MP regarding concerns about Hashim Thaçi. “Enough with the speculation,” Geci wrote in a public statement. “I wrote those sentences myself spontaneously, at the moment when the PDK MP said we were afraid of Thaçi.

Further adding to the situation, Gani Geci revealed that he had been unable to reach Deputy Fatos Geci via phone. Geci also shared a letter he had sent to Hashim Thaçi. The exchange highlights ongoing tensions within the Vetëvendosje parliamentary group and raises questions about the origins of the speech.
