German YouTuber Shatters Rubik’s Cube Record in Freefall

Tom Kopke, a 23-year-old German YouTuber operating under the moniker “Tooleko,” has set a new Guinness World Record for the fastest time solving a Rubik’s Cube while in freefall. The attempt took place over Mossel Bay, South Africa. Kopke successfully solved the cube in 23.333 seconds before deploying his parachute.

This achievement surpassed the previous record of 28.25 seconds, previously held by Australian Sam Sieracki, who set the record in 2023. The endeavor involved a complex combination of skill and precision. Kopke explained, “I solved the Rubik’s Cube for the first time when I was 18 and practiced a lot then.

I even made a video trying some crazy challenges and said that one day I would solve it by jumping with a parachute.”

The attempt utilized a standard Rubik’s cube, and the entire event was meticulously documented. This record-breaking feat highlights Kopke’s dedication to mastering the puzzle and his ambitious approach to challenging feats. The successful completion of the cube while in freefall demonstrates a remarkable blend of athletic ability and problem-solving skills.
