Kosovo Official Praises Court Ruling in Banjska Attack Case
Pristina – Following a Basic Court ruling in Pristina, Director of the “Octopus” Institute, Arben Fetoshi, has responded to the verdict in the 2023 Banjska terrorist attack case. Fetoshi characterized the decision as a clear demonstration of justice and the institutional commitment of Kosovo to upholding the rule of law. The court delivered a life sentence to two individuals implicated in the attack and a 30-year prison sentence for a further participant.
Fetoshi described this sentencing as a significant step towards justice, acknowledging the gravity of the crimes committed. However, he also emphasized that the legal process remains incomplete. Fetoshi highlighted the continued absence of arrests for other individuals involved, noting that several suspects are believed to be located within Serbia.
Specifically, he pointed to the ongoing lack of justice for key figure Milan Radoiçiq and other suspected individuals. “The pursuit of justice in this case is not yet fully realized,” Fetoshi stated. The Director’s comments underscore the ongoing efforts to hold all those responsible for the Banjska attack accountable.
