FC Drita Fined Following Fan Incidents in Match Against Drenica
Prishtina, Kosovo – The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) has imposed a €1,000 fine on FC Drita following incidents during their match against KF Drenica on April 24, 2026. The decision was issued by the FFK’s Disciplinary Commission. The ruling stems from reported behavior of Drita supporters, referred to as “The Intellectuals,” during the contest.
According to the match delegate’s official report, pyrotechnic devices were ignited in the stands in the 48th minute of the match. These devices subsequently landed on the field of play. As a direct consequence of the smoke produced by the pyrotechnics, the match was temporarily halted for approximately two minutes to allow for safety measures.
The Disciplinary Commission evaluated the situation under Article 6, paragraph 1, point C, and Article 18, paragraph 2, points B and C of the Disciplinary Rules. The commission determined that FC Drita was responsible for the violations. The fine of €1,000 was a result of the incident during the match against Drenica.
Further details of the decision were not immediately available.
