Five People Arrested Following Operation at Kosovo Cadastral Agency

Pristina – The Basic Prosecution in Pristina, in collaboration with the Kosovo Police, has announced the arrest of five people following an operation conducted this morning at the Kosovo Cadastral Agency and several related locations. The individuals, identified as A.B., N.K., A.Q., B.SH., and M.B., were taken into custody for a period of 48 hours. The operation is centered around suspicion of jointly committing the criminal offense of ‘Abuse of Duty or Official Authority.’ According to the Prosecution’s statement, the investigation focuses on alleged irregularities involving property acquisition.

Two of the suspects are accused of utilizing a forged contract dating back to 1966 to illegally obtain property. Furthermore, an official from the Basic Court in Pristina is suspected of creating fictitious documents to aid in the legalization process. Additionally, two officials from the Kosovo Cadastral Agency are suspected of exceeding their authorized duties during the operation.

The Kosovo Police are continuing their investigation, and further details are expected to be released as the case progresses. The five people arrested remain in custody pending further legal proceedings.
