Construction Worker Dies in Skopje Building Collapse
A construction worker died and four others were injured following a collapse at a building site in the Kisela Voda municipality of Skopje. The incident occurred at a construction project on land owned by the family of Ivica Konevski, the former head of the Airport Municipality, according to statements released by sdk.mk. The building is being developed by the company “Jakimovski DOOEL.” Konevski described the event as a “tragedy,” emphasizing that “Jakimovski DOOEL” possesses extensive experience and that all necessary building permits were secured prior to construction.

The head of the Clinic for Traumatology and Emergency Medicine confirmed the injuries.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collapse. The investigation will focus on the stability of the land and adherence to construction protocols at the building site. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
