New Judges Appointed in Kosovo by Head of State

Kosovo’s Head of State, Albulena Haxhiu, has issued a decree appointing 17 judges with initial mandates, following a proposal from the Kosovo Judicial Council. The appointments represent a key step in bolstering the country’s judicial system. According to a statement released to the media, the newly appointed judges include 15 individuals from the Albanian community and two from the Serbian community.
