Hidromorava Intensifies Action Against Consumers with Unpaid Water Bills in Gjilan

The Regional Water Supply Company, Hidromorava, based in Gjilan, has announced a stepped-up effort to disconnect consumers who currently have two or more outstanding water bills. The initiative, implemented with support from the Kosovo Police, is intended to promote greater adherence to water service payments. According to a company statement, the action is focused on improving discipline regarding payment obligations.

Hidromorava is urging residents to address any outstanding debts promptly to prevent disconnection and subsequent liquidation procedures. “Consumers who fulfill their debt or establish payment agreements for rescheduling will avoid disconnection and liquidation,” the announcement clarified. Hidromorava stressed that consistent water payments represent a legal obligation, and failure to meet these obligations directly impacts consumers.

The company emphasized the importance of timely payments for maintaining the water supply network. Citizens are encouraged to contact Hidromorava immediately to discuss their account and explore available options. The company’s goal is to ensure continued access to water services through responsible payments.
