Iran revealed why it attacked the United Arab Emirates again

Iranian Official Attributes Regional Actions to Self-Defense

Tehran – The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmail Baghaei, stated that recent actions targeting countries in the region are being conducted in self-defense. Speaking to Iranian state television Press TV on Monday, Baghaei asserted that these actions are a direct response to what he described as “active aggression” by the United States and Israel. Baghaei emphasized that the Iranian government does not harbor hostility towards regional nations.

However, he maintained that targeting those territories is necessary to protect Iran from continued threats. According to Baghaei, the justification stems from the presence of united American assets – including military bases and logistical support – within these countries. “The only reason we have targeted their territories is simply because we need to defend ourselves from an active aggression by the United States and Israel,” Baghaei explained.

He further alleged that the United States utilizes these assets to facilitate ongoing aggression against Iran. The comments come amid ongoing tensions between Iran and several countries in the Middle East. Baghaei’s statements reflect the Iranian government’s perspective on the situation, framing its actions as defensive measures.
