It has been 22 years since the March turmoil, Blakaj: A full report on the events has still not been released.

Bekim Blakaj, representing the Humanitarian Rights Fund, addressed the events of March 2004 in Kosovo, stressing the lack of a comprehensive and precise report detailing the incidents and their repercussions. During an appearance on “FIVE” in Dukagjin, Blakaj outlined the timeline, beginning on March 15, 2004. This date marked the injury of a Serbian citizen in Kagllavic, triggering a blockade of the Pristina–Ferizaj road and the route to Skopje by local Serbs.

Blakaj explained that the widely discussed “stolen coup” involved children who tragically fell into the Kabul river. The surviving brother reported that the children were pursued by Serbian forces following the incident. Critically, Blakaj asserted that this particular event was not subjected to a thorough investigation, and consequently, no report with definitive conclusions materialized.

Twenty-two years later, the full circumstances remain unclear. Despite the establishment of a chronology – specifically, on March 15th of 2004 – a complete understanding has yet to be achieved.

  1. Twenty-two years have passed since the March disturbances in Kosovo, and a complete report concerning the events remains unpublished.
