Juventus and Spalletti are close to renewing their contract until 2027.

Juventus is nearing completion of a contract extension with coach Luciano Spalletti, according to reports. The Italian football club and the manager are poised to finalize a new agreement running until June 2027, with a further option for a subsequent season. Juventus correspondent Romeo Agresti has indicated that the Serie A powerhouse and Spalletti are extremely close to securing the deal.

Spalletti took over at the end of October, replacing Igor Tudor, initially committing to a temporary contract expiring at the season’s conclusion. Negotiations for a permanent contract commenced last week, and Agresti suggests that both Juventus and Spalletti are on the verge of reaching a mutually agreeable outcome. The proposed contract extends until June 2027, incorporating a valuable option to extend the agreement by another year.

Currently, Juventus occupies fifteenth position in the Serie A standings, trailing Como by a single point in fourth place. However, Spalletti’s tenure has been marked by success, with the coach overseeing 16 victories since his appointment. This new contract solidifies Spalletti’s future with Juventus.
