Kabashi-Ramaj: The problem with the president is Kurti and Vetëvendosje’s approach

MP Kabashi-Ramaj Attributes Election Blockade to Kurti and Vetëvendosje

Kosovo Democratic Party (PDK) Member of Parliament Besa Kabashi-Ramaj sharply criticized Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the Vetëvendosje Movement in a recent television appearance, placing responsibility for the ongoing blockade of the presidential election process squarely on their shoulders. Speaking on FIVE in TV Dukagjini, Kabashi-Ramaj argued that Vetëvendosje has constructed a narrative centered around “guilt” to deflect attention from the central issue. “The issue of guilt is a narrative of Vetëvendosje and Prime Minister Kurti,” Kabashi-Ramaj stated.

“Because the idea is that if we talk about guilt, we don’t talk about the problem. The problem is primarily Prime Minister Kurti and Vetëvendosje. And their approach to how the state is led is not that of the PDK.”

Kabashi-Ramaj asserted that the PDK has historically prioritized national interest and state interests over partisan concerns.

She cited the PDK’s past record as evidence of this commitment, stating, “It has been proven…”

The comments come amid continued disputes surrounding the presidential election and the role of key political figures, including Kurti, in the impasse. The debate centers on allegations of wrongdoing and the subsequent impact on the electoral process.
