Kosovo U19 began with goalless qualifying matches for Euro 2027.

The Kosovo U19 national team commenced their qualifying campaign with a 1-1 draw against Armenia in the initial match for the 2027 European Championship. This tournament will be hosted in the Czech Republic. Within Group 2 of League B, Kosovo U-19’s journey to qualification began with an even result against Armenia.

Coach Albert Bunjaku’s squad established an early advantage in the 19th minute, thanks to Lorik Mehmeti’s goal, putting Kosovo ahead 0-1. The team controlled the first half, maintaining dominance and failing to extend their lead. However, as the match progressed and time dwindled, Armenia responded effectively.

David Batoian secured the equalizer with a penalty in the 81st minute, resulting in a 1-1 draw. This scoreline ultimately determined the final outcome of the encounter. Looking ahead, Kosovo will continue their qualifying efforts with a game against Gibraltar scheduled for Friday.

The young Kosovans are determined to build upon this initial result and advance through the stages of the competition.
