Kurti wrote to Bedri Hamza, but says the offer he had for LDK does not apply to PDK.

Kurti Reveals Rejected Offers Following Stalled Presidential Negotiations with LDK

Prishtina – Following a unproductive meeting with LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku concerning the selection of the President, Vetëvendosje (VV) Chairman Albin Kurti has outlined the details of two proposals offered to Abdixhiku. The proposals centered on a potential cooperation agreement. According to Kurti, the initial offer included the position of Deputy Prime Minister, along with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and three additional ministerial portfolios.

Kurti stated that he himself extended the offer of the Deputy Prime Minister role to Abdixhiku. A second proposal, which was subsequently rejected by the LDK, involved the party securing the role of Speaker of the Parliament, with the leader of the LDK exchanging positions with the current Speaker from VV. Kurti indicated that all avenues for dialogue with the LDK had been exhausted.

He asserted that Abdixhiku had rejected both offers, effectively ending negotiations regarding the presidential selection process. Further details regarding the specific ministries offered remain undisclosed. The stalemate continues to present a significant challenge to forming a government in Prishtina.
