LVV officials are mocking the clashes in LDK: They are dealing with American gas and cannot even maintain the gas of Peja

Recent internal disagreements within the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) have drawn attention, particularly following demands for the resignation of Lumir Abdixhi from local branches in Peja, Lipjan, and the II Branch in Pristina. These internal disputes have prompted commentary from officials associated with the Vetëvendosje movement. Taulant Kelmendi, an elected deputy representing Vetëvendosje, addressed the conflict, stating that the debates between Lumir Abdixhi and Gazmend Muhaxheri are matters internal to the LDK.

However, Kelmendi directed specific criticism toward the local government structure in Peja. He asserted that the municipality required leadership focused on serving its citizens rather than being influenced by factional interests, alleged abuse, or poorly conceived schemes. According to Kelmendi, the residents of Peja require development, transparency, and accountability, rather than being embroiled in internal political disputes.

Adding to the commentary, another Vetëvendosje deputy, Ilir Kërçeli, also weighed in on the situation within the LDK, offering remarks concerning Gazmend Muhaxheri. The statements from these officials highlight a divergence in political commentary regarding the stability and governance within the LDK. The focus of the external critique centers on ensuring that local administration in areas like Peja prioritizes civic development over internal political maneuvering.
