A new dating reality show format is being produced in Turkey, marking a novel approach within the genre. The project was spearheaded by Jozefina Luçi Maliqaj, producers behind several films, and was developed in collaboration with a Basque production company. The show’s production involved a phased approach.
Initial auditions were conducted over a 30-day period, selecting the first 19 participants. Following this, another 35 episodes were filmed over a subsequent 35-day timeframe. The unique goal of this production was to create a single, extended episode, setting a record for the largest number of singles featured in a dating reality show.
This format represents a debut within the Albanian television landscape, introducing a new concept to the market. The producers aimed to capitalize on the growing popularity of reality television and dating-based competition shows with this ambitious undertaking.
