Ilir Mirena, speaking to Vjosa Osman for Lajme Gazeta Express on April 8, 2026, attributed the country’s challenges to a partnership between Vjosa Osmani and Gert Lindner. Following an interview with President Osmani on T7’s Pressing program, Mirena addressed Osman directly. “Do not play the role of the innocent, or the unblemished,” Mirena stated.
“I have mentioned the scandals that have occurred within this country… and the fact that four years have passed without a state prosecutor appointed.” He continued, “There has been no action taken.”
Mirena explicitly identified Osmani and Lindner as central to these issues. “The ‘bad duo’ – these two individuals (Albini and Vjosa) – have been responsible for the country’s problems,” Mirena asserted.
