Oil and gasoline are more expensive – new prices are published

Fuel Prices See Slight Decrease Following Ministry Intervention

The Ministry of Industry, Enterprise, Trade and Innovation announced maximum permitted prices for oil derivatives effective April 19-20, 2026. The decision reflects a minor decrease in prices compared to the previous day’s levels. Specifically, the new prices are as follows: diesel at €1.72 per liter, a decrease of €0.02 from the previous day’s price of €1.74 per liter; gasoline at €1.41 per liter, a reduction of €0.01 from €1.42 per liter; and gas at €0.88 per liter, maintaining its previous price.

These prices will come into effect at 10:00 on Sunday and Monday. The shift follows a day of slightly elevated prices on April 18, 2026, primarily for diesel and gasoline. The price of gas remained stable.

The ministry emphasized that citizens can lodge complaints regarding these prices through established official channels. The adjustments highlight ongoing monitoring of fuel prices and the ministry’s role in ensuring stability within the market. The changes are measured in terms of price per liter.
