The Basic Prosecution in Pristina initiated an operation this morning, working in full collaboration with the Kosovo Police and allied units. This action followed a court order from the Basic Court of Pristina. The operation targeted the Business Registration Agency (ARBK), a department within the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Trade.
Investigations were prompted by suspicions of criminal activity, specifically allegations of “Abuse of Position or Official Authority” and “Specific Cases of Document Forgery.” The Basic Prosecution, alongside the Economic Crime Investigation Unit, conducted searches at ARBK. During the operation, three officials were taken into custody for questioning by the investigation team. The Kosovo Police provided support throughout the process.
The prosecution’s actions demonstrate a coordinated effort to address these serious concerns. The detained individuals are currently being held pending further inquiry. The entire operation was carried out under the direction of the Basic Court.
