Kosovo Can Learn from Regional European Integration Experiences, Says Dutch Official
Kosovo can benefit from examining the experiences of other countries in the region as it continues its path toward European integration, according to Venera Ramaj, a high-ranking official on the rule of law from the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kosovo. Ramaj’s comments were made during her participation in the “Tempus” program. Ramaj emphasized that many of the challenges currently faced by Kosovo – particularly within the various chapters of accession – are not unique.
She noted that similar obstacles have been encountered by countries that have already joined the European Union, such as Croatia, Albania, and Montenegro. “The problems Kosovo faces in each chapter, not just the first chapter, are not problems that other countries have not faced,” Ramaj stated.
