Renovations Completed at Kosova University Clinical Center Cardiology Clinic

Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti, alongside Minister of Health Arben Vitia and the Ambassador of Luxembourg to Kosovo, Eric Dietz, participated in the inauguration of renovations at the Cardiology Clinic within the University Clinical Center of Kosova (QKUK). The project, focused on enhancing patient care, has been completed with an investment of 1.5 million euros. The renovations encompass the transformation of approximately 400 square meters of space, updated to meet modern hospital standards.

This initiative aims to improve working conditions for medical professionals and provide patients with more dignified and safer environments. According to officials, the upgrades will significantly increase the clinic’s capacity. The goal is to expand the number of interventions performed annually from over 4,000 to up to 8,000.

Key improvements include the simultaneous functionalization of the Cath-Lab and the installation of a new angiograph. These renovations at the Kosova clinic are intended to reduce waiting lists and bolster the quality of cardiovascular services available to patients in the region. The project reflects a continued commitment by the government to modernize healthcare infrastructure within Kosovo.
