Tahir Batatina has been sanctioned by the Disciplinary Commission, receiving two fines and a 300 euro penalty.

The Disciplinary and Ethics Commission of the Kosovan Football Federation issued significant sanctions following the conclusion of the 24th round of the Superliga on March 16, 2026, at 17:00. Football Gazette Express reported this decision. Tahir Batatina, coach of Llapi, faced a 300 euro fine and a suspension from managing his team for two matches.

The disciplinary action stemmed from Batatina’s conduct during the match against Dukagjini in Klinë. Initially, he received a yellow card in the 57th minute for reacting to an official’s decision. However, following the warning, Batatina’s behavior escalated.

He then proceeded towards the referee, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct, employing abusive language, and encouraging his players to stage a boycott of the game. Tahir Batatina’s actions clearly violated established regulations. The Disciplinary Commission deemed these actions unacceptable and warranted the imposed penalties.

This decision highlights the importance of maintaining respectful conduct within the sport.
