Tahiri: Kosovo faces its most critical crisis since achieving independence, with the economy on the brink of collapse.

Besnik Tahiri, the leader of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, has warned that Kosovo is facing imminent collapse. He believes the nation is now in its most critical state, directly resulting from the unsuccessful presidential election. During a media conference held on Thursday, tahiri strongly criticized the Vetëvendosje Movement, arguing that it is incapable of effectively functioning within the state.

He described the current circumstances as the worst since Kosovo’s independence, highlighting a deep crisis characterized by numerous uncertainties. Tahiri reported for kp that Kosovo is currently under a blockade, with the state itself non-functional. He further stated that the economy is dangerously close to collapse.

Tahiri remains convinced that President Osmani’s decision to redistribute the Assembly’s seats is constitutional. Furthermore, he voiced his disapproval of attacks, as he perceived them, against Kosovo’s highest legal institution by Vetëvendosje representatives. Tahiri emphasized the urgent need for solutions to stabilize its situation.
