Ten clubs have been accredited for the European competitions: eight men and two women.

Ten Kosovan Clubs Licensed for European Competition

The Kosovan Football Federation (FFK) has granted licenses to ten clubs for participation in European competitions for the upcoming season. This marks a significant step for the nation’s footballing ambitions. Of the ten licensed clubs, eight represent teams within the men’s Kosovan Superliga.

These include FC Drita, FC Ballkani, FC Malisheva, FC Pristina, SC Gjilani, FC Dukagjini, FC Llapi, and FC Ferizaj. The remaining two licenses were awarded to women’s football teams, specifically KFF Mitrovica and KFV Pristina, signifying increased investment and participation in the women’s game. A total of twelve clubs initially applied for licensing with the FFK, however, only ten were ultimately successful.

FC Drenica and FC Pristina e Re were unsuccessful in securing their licenses. This licensing process ensures that these ten clubs will compete on the European stage, furthering Kosovo’s representation within international football. The FFK continues to work to support and develop football across the country, aiming to increase the number of clubs participating in European competitions in the future.
