The 48-year-old man from Radusha has been deprived of his freedom, as he was traveling by a car sought by Interpol.

Border police in Jazhinca took into custody a man last night during the late afternoon. The operation occurred on March 20, 2026, at approximately 6:40 PM. During standard checks at the border entry/exit point, officers stopped a citizen identified as S.A., an old man aged 48 from the village of Radushë.

Following a verification process within the database system, the police confirmed a significant finding. The “Volkswagen Tiguan” vehicle, being driven by the 48-year-old, had been flagged as wanted by Interpol Germany. This indicated the vehicle was subject to an international search warrant.

Immediately following this confirmation, authorities seized the vehicle. The police have stated that, after completing the full documentation of the incident, a criminal charge will be formally filed against the man in North Macedonia. The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
