15-Year-Old Dies Following Collapse at Ferizaj School
Ferizaj, Kosovo – A 15-year-old student died today after collapsing in the physical education hall of a school in Ferizaj. The incident, which occurred on April 17, 2026, is currently under investigation. According to information provided to Gazeta Express by the Kosovo Police, the student experienced a sudden cardiac arrest.
Ferizaj region police spokesperson, Kanun Veseli, stated that the victim was transported to the Emergency Center in Ferizaj without apparent signs of life. “The guardian doctor at the Emergency Center reported that the victim arrived without signs of life,” Veseli confirmed. “A written report was issued indicating a cardiac arrest, and a recommendation was made for the body to be sent for further examination.”
The prosecutor’s office has been notified of the incident.
