The presidency provides comments within the constitution regarding the Ottoman decree.

The Kosovo presidency has issued statements concerning President Vjosa Osmani’s recently issued decree, which was developed by the President’s legal team alongside seasoned specialists. Bekim Kupina, the media advisor to the presidency, verified the information to Telegraf. The Constitutional Court has made a decision to combine the review of Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s and the thirty deputies of the Vetëvendosje Movement’s appeal regarding the president’s decree into a unified process.

This action was confirmed by the Constitutional Court’s media office, through Veton Dulas. He clarified that both requests would be assessed jointly, citing that they “share the same subject of examination.”

The combined approach streamlines the legal proceedings. The presidency’s involvement ensures transparency and adherence to established protocols.

The court’s consolidation reflects a commitment to efficient judicial review. This unified procedure allows for a comprehensive evaluation of the contested decree. The focus remains on the shared legal issues presented by the Prime Minister and the Vetëvendosje deputies.
