Fuel Prices Adjusted by Transparency Board
The Transparency Board announced today a revised pricing structure for fuel, effective immediately. According to reports from A2CNN, a rise of 5 lek per liter has been implemented across both diesel and gasoline. The adjustments reflect the Board’s decision following a meeting held on April 30, 2026.
The retail price for standard SSH EN 590 diesel will not exceed 208 lek per liter. Simultaneously, the wholesale price for this fuel will not surpass 196 lek per liter. For standard SSH EN gasoline, the retail price is capped at 185 lek per liter, with a corresponding wholesale price limit of 173 lek per liter.
These new price points represent the Board’s determination regarding the market value of the fuel products. The decision aims to establish clear guidelines for both retail and wholesale transactions, ensuring transparency in the fuel market. The adjustments are measured in lek per liter and are subject to ongoing review by the Transparency Board.
Further details regarding the pricing structure can be found on the Board’s official website.
