The U.S. Transportation Department official is accused of using his work computer to threaten Trump.

FAA Contractor Arrested for Threatening Violence Against Trump

A 35-year-old American government employee, Dean DelleChiaie, has been arrested on charges of threatening violence against former President Donald Trump and for misuse of his employer’s computer system. The arrest was announced by prosecutors following an investigation by federal authorities. DelleChiaie, who worked as a contractor for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in New Hampshire, is accused of searching online for methods of smuggling weapons into federal buildings, alongside the explicit statement, “I will kill Donald John Trump.” Investigators determined he was using his work computer to conduct these searches.

The charges stem from a broader series of threats directed at trump over the past week. This arrest follows three other similar accusations, including one involving former FBI Director James Comey and a photograph posted on Instagram. DelleChiaie is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the extent of his activities and any potential connections to other individuals involved in the threats. His legal representation could not be immediately reached for comment. The investigation remains ongoing.
