The U.S. urged Gulf states to choose between Israel and Iran.

U.S. Ambassador Huckabee Urges Gulf States to Align with Israel Following Conflict

TEL AVIV – U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, stated on Monday that the recent conflict has highlighted the potential benefits of normalizing relations, specifically urging the states of the Gulf region to “choose a side.” Speaking at a conference in Tel Aviv, as reported by Telegrafi, Huckabee emphasized the need for Gulf nations to assess their security postures.

“Choose a side. Which side will you choose,” Huckabee stated. He argued that the conflict demonstrated Israel’s role in regional stability.

“The Gulf states now understand that they need to make a choice. Is it more likely they will be attacked by Iran or by Israel? And I think they can look around and say: you know, Israel helped us.

Iran attacked us,” he explained. Huckabee’s remarks centered on the perceived actions of both countries during the conflict. He asserted that Israel has not engaged in attacks against civilian populations, contrasting this with Iran’s actions.

“The lesson is that Israel is not your natural enemy. Israel does not intend to destroy you. Israel is not trying to take your land.

It is not sending rockets into your civilian territories. Who is doing that?” he questioned. The ambassador’s comments underscore a strategic perspective regarding the evolving dynamics within the Gulf region and Israel’s position.
