Gjakova – Following a fatal stabbing incident, the families of both Rexhë Brahimaj, a young man who lost his life, and Qazim Sadrija, the suspect, have announced a peace agreement. The announcement was made following reports by Sinjal detailing the reconciliation between the two families. The incident occurred yesterday on “Queen Teutonia” street in Gjakova, where Rexhë Brahimaj, a young man, died after sustaining stab wounds.
According to police reports, the conflict began between Brahimaj and Qazim Sadrija, who subsequently turned himself in to law enforcement. Initial reports indicated that Brahimaj was transported to the Gjakova QKMF hospital with serious chest injuries following the altercation. Despite immediate medical attention, his condition deteriorated during ambulance transport to the “Isa Grezda” Regional Hospital, and he succumbed to his injuries.
