Ferizaj Police Investigate Fraud Case Involving Cryptocurrency Transaction
The Ferizaj Police reported a criminal case of “Fraud” on April 17, 2026, at approximately 21:00, originating from an incident on “Cen Dugolli” street in Ferizaj. The case involves a scheme where suspects misrepresented their possession of cryptocurrencies to three individuals who intended to purchase them. According to police reports, the suspects arranged a meeting and, through deceptive practices, successfully obtained an amount of 12,000 euros (4,000 euros per individual).
Following the transaction, the suspects fled the scene via the window of a nearby bar. Ongoing investigations led to a second incident on April 29, 2026, when the suspects were preparing a similar fraudulent scheme on “Ismail Reka” street in Kacanik. Police intervened and apprehended the individuals involved.
