Thirteen drivers were arrested in a single day, several were intoxicated and others lacked valid licenses.

Across the nation, law enforcement agencies conducted a series of arrests yesterday, resulting in the apprehension of thirteen drivers. The Ministry of Interior Affairs reported significant concerns regarding impaired driving and license violations. Four drivers, originating from Skopje, Saint Nikola, Radovish, and Bogdanci, were taken into custody for operating vehicles while intoxicated.

Simultaneously, six drivers, all from Skopje, Macedonian Brod, Gostivar, and Struga, were found to be driving without possessing a valid driver’s license. Furthermore, two drivers from Kercova were arrested for operating vehicles despite an active driving prohibition. Adding to these violations, one driver from Skopje was apprehended for operating an unregistered motorcycle without a license.

These actions highlight serious risks on the roadways. In two separate incidents, drivers under the influence of alcohol were directly involved in traffic accidents. A person from Saint Nikola, with a blood alcohol concentration of 1.96 percent, collided with a concrete wall.

Similarly, a driver from Bogdanci, with a blood alcohol level of 1.99 percent, also contributed to a traffic incident. These arrests underscore the importance of responsible driving and adherence to traffic regulations by drivers.
