Kosovo Parliament to Hold Three Plenary Sessions This Week
Kosovo’s Parliament will convene for three plenary sessions this week following a meeting of the Parliament’s Presidency, Speaker Albulena Haxhiu announced. The sessions are scheduled to be held on both Thursday, April 23rd, and Friday. The first session is slated to begin at 10:00 on Thursday.
Following this, two additional sessions will be held on Friday, each addressing distinct matters. One of these sessions will be a solemn occasion dedicated to honoring the memory of the late American Congressman Eliot Engel, who passed away on April 10th. “We have decided to hold three sessions, each of which is as important as the others, as we have obligations before the citizens,” Haxhiu stated.
“The first session will be held on April 23rd starting at 10:00, while the two others will also be held on Friday, one solemn for Eliot Engel and the other with the agenda for the day.”
Parliamentary business will be conducted across the three planned sessions, ensuring continued engagement with legislative priorities. Details regarding the specific agenda items for each session will be released in the coming days.
