Three Protests Planned in Pristina for International Workers’ Day

Pristina, Kosovo – On International Workers’ Day, May 1st, three organized protests are scheduled to take place throughout the city. The events, announced by various organizations, reflect a range of concerns and will occur at different times and locations. The first protest will be led by representatives of small businesses, commencing at 09:00 with the slogan “Enough with discrimination!” The group will march from the Pristina Municipality to the European Union office.

Simultaneously, at 10:00, the Federation of Private Sector Workers will hold a demonstration in Sheshi “Zahir Pajaziti” square, marking the observance of International Workers’ Day. Later in the day, at 12:00, the Anti-Capitalist Assembly has announced a protest also in Sheshi “Zahir Pajaziti,” carrying the slogan “Your vote is ignored, your vote cannot be heard.”

These three protests represent a significant gathering of civic engagement on this day. Organizers have stated that these events are intended to highlight various issues and concerns within the Kosovan community.
