Time will be the judge. A message delivered to political leaders on Bayram Day.

Today marks the observance of Fitr Bajram for Muslim communities. The special prayer service commenced at 06:18, guided by the head imam of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, Vedat Sahiti. Simultaneously, the traditional muezzin call to prayer was delivered by Naim Tërnava, the Mufti of Kosovo.

Tërnava addressed the assembled believers with messages centered on peace, unity, and solidarity. He declared, “Today is the day of Fitr Bajram, a day brimming with joy, gratitude, and reward for those who observed Ramadan with unwavering faith and commitment.”

He continued, “It represents a day where the blessings of Allah are evident, illuminating hearts with tranquility and light. Ramadan itself was more than just a month; it functioned as a vital school, instilling within us patience, self-control, and a deeper connection to God’s worship.”

The Mufti underscored the significance of upholding family values, offering assistance to those in need, and cultivating resilience.

This special day, Fitr, is a celebration of the entire fitr.
