Prishtina to Implement Traffic Restrictions Ahead of International Workers’ Day

Prishtina – On Friday, May 1st, the Prishtina Municipality will implement temporary traffic restrictions in the direction of Gërmia Park to mark International Workers’ Day. The decision was announced via a notification posted on the municipality’s official Facebook page. The restrictions will apply to all private vehicle traffic traveling towards the park.

However, several categories of vehicles are exempt, including bus line 4 operated by NPL “Urban Traffic,” vehicles of the Kosovo Police, KFOR, and EULEX, as well as NPL “Green” and KRM “Cleaning” services. Emergency vehicles and inspectors will also be unaffected. Notably, the S22 line will continue to operate according to its standard route and schedule.

The Prishtina Municipality has requested the cooperation of all citizens to ensure a peaceful and secure environment during the day. Officials emphasized the importance of understanding and adherence to the traffic restrictions. The move is intended to facilitate a quiet celebration for the public.
