Uran Ismaili confirms coalition with LDK in capital.

PDK and LDK Form Coalition for Pristina Governance

Uran Ismaili, Deputy Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDK), has confirmed the formation of a coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) to govern Pristina. Speaking to Pressing on T7, Ismaili stated, “There is a coalition, we have formed a coalition with Mr. Rama…”

Ismaili acknowledged that external pressures have influenced the decision-making process.

“I haven’t been very enthusiastic, but we are being carried by crises at the national level and we are being carried to Pristina,” he commented on the achieved coalition. He emphasized that he intends to avoid creating instability within the capital. Referring to the potential for a successful or unproductive coalition, Ismaili stated, “I have seen that PDK is the key that can have a successful coalition or a dry one that creates a blockade…”

An official announcement of the coalition is scheduled for tomorrow, at which point Ismaili’s team will begin assuming responsibilities.

Ismaili highlighted the importance of services provided in Pristina to his priorities. The formation of this coalition marks a significant development for governance within Pristina.
