Vetëvendosje Publishes Candidate List for June 7th Elections
The Vetëvendosje Movement has released its list of candidates it will field in the upcoming early parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7th. According to a statement from the party, Albin Kurti, chairman of Vetëvendosje, will lead the list, followed by Glauk Konjufca, the party’s vice-chairman, maintaining the established order from prior electoral cycles. The initial ten candidates on the list represent a diverse group of figures within the Vetëvendosje Movement.
Donika Gërvalla, Avni Dehari, Albulena Haxhiu, Hekuran Murati, Xhelal Sveçla, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, Hajrulla Çeku, and Shqipe Mehmeti-Selimi are also included. Vetëvendosje anticipates a significant role in the electoral race, positioning itself as one of the primary political forces in the country. The list incorporates both prominent government figures and current parliamentary deputies, reflecting a broad representation within the movement.
