Weapons, ammunition, and radio equipment found in two abandoned houses in Leposaviq

Kosovo Police conducted operations in the village of Potokmali, located in Leposaviqi, following reports that various weapons were being concealed within abandoned structures. The police conducted inspections at two separate locations within the village. During an investigation at an abandoned house around 3:30 PM, officers seized a significant collection of materials.

The items recovered included a radio transmitter with an adapter, a plastic container holding shotgun ammunition, twenty-two shotgun casings, weapon oil, a single shotgun shell, plastic parts filled with gunpowder, a knife, a rifle sleeve, and a military jacket bearing Serbian inscriptions. Furthermore, police inventoried a rifle equipped with a magazine and five shells, alongside six additional magazines containing a total of 56 shells. Separately, a second incident occurred around 3:15 PM when police inspected another abandoned house in Potokmali.

At this location, officers discovered and seized additional equipment and supplies. The coordinated police action aimed to secure various types of weapons and prevent the illegal stockpiling of ammunition. The seizure of these materials from multiple abandoned properties highlights ongoing police efforts to monitor and secure the region.

The findings detailed in the police report confirm the presence of multiple weapons systems and substantial amounts of ammunition across the inspected sites.
