Medical personnel at the Isa Grezda Hospital in Gjakova have begun a work stoppage, citing unresolved payment issues. The Federation of Private Sector Unions of Kosovo (FSPTSPK) reports this action. According to Yusuf Azemi, the Chairman of FSPTSPK, the staff’s continued strike will persist until all outstanding payments are addressed and implemented on a consistent schedule.

Azemi emphasized the urgency of the situation. “We are anticipating a swift processing of the workers’ salaries and a return to their regular duties,” he explained. “Until these payments are successfully completed and distributed, the workers will maintain their position on strike.”

The FSPTSPK is advocating for the immediate resolution of this matter.
